Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop data integration solutions for the extraction, transformation and loading of data into data warehouse.
  2. Develop import procedures for gathering, storing and analysing corporate data from various other sources.
  3. Analyse business requirements and develop unique simple solutions to meet the immediate and long-term BI demands of the group.
  4. Successful delivery of business intelligence information to the management.
  5. Carry out any other development related with Data Warehouse and BI.
  6. Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
  7. Prepare technical documentation for data warehouses, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow
Requirements:
  1. B.Sc. /M.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Science or related field;
  2. Passion for using data visualization tools to turn complex data sets into actionable insights;
  3. Analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to translate complex source data into a consumable format and structure
  5. Knowledge of data warehouse design concepts such as star and snowflake schema design, and slowly changing dimensions
  6. Excellent command of the English Language
Not required but will be considered as advantage:
  1. Expertise in data visualization, including dashboard development and design principles using Power BI or other reporting tools
  2. Experience with ETL tools
  3. Interest in data modelling and statistical analysis with Python or R
  4. Familiarity with cloud services and source control systems
  5. Experience in financial markets
  6. Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence others
  7. Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology
