ETD Business Development Manager
Role:
Business Development Manager is responsible for the Sales and Business Development of ETD brokerage services on a global scale. The objective for the position is to proactively organize the sales of the ETD brokerage services to retail and institutional Clients by utilizing the existing Sales / Business Development team, Client base and channels of the Company and in parallel develop new business in geographic locations and Client segments where the Company is currently not present. The person has to be proactive and aim to self-generate new leads, business contacts and exposure within the ETD trading community.

As a key member of Tickmill business development team, the Business Development Manager will report to Global Head of Business Development and assume a key role growing the ETD brokerage business of the company.
Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in formulating the company’s ETD business development strategy
  2. Achieve business goals in all target markets – Europe, Asia, Middle-East and South America
  3. Activate and retain Retail and Institutional Clients, Introducing Brokers, Money Managers
  4. Take overall responsibility in delivering satisfactory customer experience for ETD Clients from all aspects of Sales and Business Development function
  5. Ensure that all Leads are contacted and best efforts are made to convert these Leads into Active Clients
  6. Lead, supervise and train all ETD Sales & Business Development personnel
  7. Be the high-level go to person for Country Managers, Customer Support and Sales with regards to inquiries about ETD products and trading platform
  8. Maintain good communication lines with ETD Ops and Product teams to ensure streamlined information flow to/from Clients and Business Development/Sales teams
  9. Provide strategic recommendations to ETD Product and Ops team to constantly meet the needs of the Clients
  10. Establish monthly and annual goals and KPI system to monitor performance and deliver success
  11. Assess and evaluate on-going and future load to ensure sufficient human and monetary resources are available to deliver Businesss Development Strategy
  12. Be critical in terms of Business Development costs and focus on optimization and efficiencies
  13. Analyse ETD marketing and industry trends and track activities of competitors in order to provide valuable inputs for fine tuning operational & marketing strategies
  14. Represent the company in key ETD exhibitions and trade fairs
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Finance or Business or Sales& Marketing field
  2. Minimum of ten years in progressively responsible Sales and Business Development roles in the field of ETD or other derivative products
  3. A strong understanding of market and competitor trends with a good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework of derivatives
  4. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels within Tickmill and externally with different profiles of Clients (retail and institutional)
  5. Leadership Skills and holistic Business Development vision
  6. Understanding the specifics of ETD products or in general derivative instruments
  7. Proven track record of proactive ETD Sales and Business Development competency
  8. High level of integrity and dependability
  9. Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-moving global and multi-language environment
  10. Excellent team player, able to interact effectively with various functions within the company with the ability to build consensus
  11. Bi-lingual skills due to multi-jurisdictions
  12. Previous experience in Derivatives, FX, CFDs brokerage or banking industry
  13. Personal trading experience with ETD products or exchange traded products in general
  14. Experience with mainstream front-end platforms covering ETD products
