We are looking for an Information Security Officer. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact in terms of Information Security. The candidate will be responsible for the provision of protective security and information risk management, which includes developing and enforcing various information security procedures and standards across the group.
  1. Assessing and identifying key security risks in a variety of business lines.
  2. Monitoring computer networks and systems for security issues.
  3. Investigating and reporting security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
  4. Developing company-wide best practices for IT security.
  5. Preparing Information Security documentation and updating relevant policies and guides.
  6. Providing advice and guidance on necessary security requirements required to protect staff, infrastructure, assets and information.
  7. Making recommendations for security enhancements and cost-effective improvements based on threat levels.
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar field or position.
  2. Degree in IT Security or relevant Information Security certifications.
  3. Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
  4. Experience in undertaking internal and third-party audits covering IT governance and information security controls.
  5. Proven ability to assess information systems processes, IT services and associated systems threats, vulnerabilities and risks.
  6. Experience in financial services is considered as an advantage.
  7. Solid understanding of UK and European regulations and compliance.
  8. Excellent communication skills in English.
