How long have you been trading and how did you start?

I started trading in 2009, motivated by my passion for programming. At that time, Arabic and stock exchange forums were an important source of learning. My main goal was to seek financial freedom and work independently, away from restrictions, while making good profits.

What was the most valuable lesson you learnt while trading?

Proper capital management is the foundation of success in the markets. I focus on achieving a specific weekly profit margin against equal or less risk, strictly adhering to my plan and not getting carried away by emotions.

What qualities or habits do you think are essential for a trader?

Waiting for the right opportunity, entering and exiting based on clear logical analysis, and proper use of stop-loss orders. This requires flexibility, patience and continuous development.

Describe your best trade so far: which instrument, strategy and profit did you make?

One of my most notable trades was in late 2023, when the price of gold was $1,810 per ounce, and in less than two months it reached $2,145. This was followed by a correction to $1,985 before rising strongly again. I relied on monitoring geopolitical tensions, China’s entry as a major buyer, and global dollar weakness. This strategy earned me over 60% profit on my portfolio.
